EXACT 3D DESIGN / SPECIALIST MANUFACTURING

The right manufacturing process. Wherever it happens.

EX3D can develop and refine designs for manufacturing methods beyond the equipment in our workshop, and coordinate external production where appropriate.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

Design beyond the workshop

A prototype may begin in polymer FFF and ultimately be produced using machining, forming, molding, or metal additive manufacturing. The process should follow the application.

CNC machining

Consider material stock, tool access, setups, tolerances, and features suited to subtractive production.

Sheet metal and thermoforming

Design around bends, tooling, wall thickness, draw geometry, assembly, and practical production constraints.

Specialized additive processes

Evaluate SLS, MJF, SLA, PolyJet, and metal additive manufacturing for geometry, material behavior, finish, and economics.

Reverse engineering and scanning

Reconstruct physical components with measurement and digital capture where appropriate; scanning services can be arranged or evaluated for a project.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

Coordinated external manufacturing

When a specialist process is the best solution, EX3D can help prepare the design, review requirements, and coordinate production with suitable providers. Availability, cost, and lead time depend on the project.

ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE

One part or a production program

From a small obsolete component to a more complex assembly, the objective is to make the design work for its intended use, not to restrict the project to a single machine.

Let’s talk about what you need.

Bring a drawing, a sample part, or simply an explanation of the problem. We can discuss a practical next step.
